In maintaining the durability of products from SICOMA Mixers, there is a need for regular maintenance by the owner. And It is important for the mixer operator to read the operation and maintenance manuals provided with the mixer before the start of operation. There are 3 times that need to be considered to treat the SICOMA Mixers you have, ie Daily, Weekly, and Monthly which would need to be routinely performed.
Daily:
- Check if SICOMA Mixers is empty before use in the morning. Make sure there is no waste on the concrete on the floor or wall of the mixer.
- Operate a high pressure wash every time there is an extension of time in production.
- Clean SICOMA Mixers with high pressure washers and sticks at the end of the operation.
- Check SICOMA Mixers to see the sewers clean.
- Check the cement with the weight of the clear hopper discharge valve formed through the inspection panel at the base of the weigh hopper.
Weekly:
- Check the distance between mixer blade and mixer floor. Adjust approximately 3 mm clearance if necessary by adjusting the height of the blade mixer.
- Check the distance between the wall and wall tile blades. Adjust only by cleaning the wall tiles on the circumference.
- Rotate SICOMA Mixers by hand to check clearance on all floors and wall tiles before starting the engine. Always check fast bolts
- Flush all over the fixed gearbox. Single dose of oil of Texaco Multifact MP2, grade UNI XM or equivalent.
- Check the hydraulic oil level in the power pack tank by using the glass of sight. It should not require topping up unless there is a leak in the system.
- Check the seatbelt and condition of the high pressure washer. Customize if necessary.
- Check the condition of wall and floor tiles for wear or damage. The discharge of the blasting holes can be ignored.
- When the tile thickness reaches approximately 5 mm, replace the necessary wall or floor tiles.
- Use a wire brush to clean high pressure spray spray to remove and install cement / concrete that can block the nozzle.
Monthly:
- Check the condition of the release door seal and replace in case of leakage.
- Check the oil level in the gearbox. Use dipstick on fixed gearbox and overflow plug on rotating gearbox.
- Oil may be no moisture, this is not water contamination and is a normal appearance for this oil (ROL EP150 or equivalent). Gearboxes should not use oil and if a level decreases, it indicates a leak and should be investigated.
- Check the oil content at high pressure water pump. Top up as necessary to see gauge marker.
- All other treatments such as replacement of gear oil box (After two years or 4000 hours of operation, depending on which is the fastest) should be done by a competent service technician.
- It is important to note that most wear and tear problems are caused by failure to maintain interior and exterior mixer components
